Ahh Crumb!

Go figure!!! We are supposed to leave on VIA RAIL to go to PG on July 26th, to visit Nana & Papa and it goes on strike. I guess it isn't our time to take the train. We will still look forward to a trip on Via. Hopefully it will be this summer???

We Made It.

Last night we had a terrible storm that lasted for about 2 hours. It was the most scariest storm I've ever lived through. The skies darkened and and the clouds formed big "funnel like" shapes in some spots. The color of the sky went from grey -black- pink. But the wind! Mr. Photography had to hold onto me literally, so he wouldn't blow away! The winds were clocked at 110Km/hr. It is noted that we had a "plow wind" come through. Of course-- our area where we live, got hit the hardest. I am thankful that we are fine, but I never want to live through that again or a tornado! Here are some photos of the morning after.

Nothing stops those golfers!!!! The whole course had debris on it, just like this!

A tree almost down.
Thank goodness the tree didn't fall on this house. It fell on the road. There are many trees down today, the roads are very messy but no one got killed. It is amazing what mother nature can do!!!

The Street Performers

This weekend we ventured out to the Edmonton Street Performers Festival. It was a lot of fun. Different people show talents they have. I have blogged about some of the fun performers we saw. However the "Queen" who you could have your photo with was a little under the weather. Mr. Photography and I were looking forward to meeting her and getting our photo with her. Oh well, there is always next year.

Here is Elvis, shaking Mr. Photography's hand. Elvis got a small donation from us for dancing so well.
This is Pretzel. He makes ballon hats.

Pretzel's final product! A deer ballon hat for the little guy. It was really cute.

Here is the birthday girl and her family. 37 years golden. Thank you for all your birthday wishes.

Our Quick Little Holiday

Hey stop taking the same photos as me! Every time I turned around, he was taking the same photos as me. It got to the point he would jump out of the car faster than me and take the photo first! Young energy at its best.

We started the trip at the beautiful city of Lethbridge. What a great city, it is a place anyone could call home!

The city's famous bridge. Brent's grandpa used to drive the train over this bridge, when he worked for CP Rail.

Onto Great Falls, Montana. Here is the dam. It was neat to see.

Ok, I have never even heard of this place before grade 3. Mr. Photography learned about this place this year and he was so excited to go here. It is definetly an interesting piece of history.

Our last stop was at Drumheller, the Tyrell Museum. As fun as it was to go here, I did kind of feel like I was in the movie- Night at the Museum!
