This post is for my Aunt Carol. Here is my treat bag for the kids on my street. Since we are not home on halloween, I give some kids we know these little treat bags. Inside is an eyeball, bat, Wendy's frosty coupon, an orange & black ballon and a bit size chocolate. Hope the kids enjoy.
This really does look like a ghost. Even I get scared when walking by--- in the daylight. CREEPY!!!! Same house as the photo below.
Dawson says he will go to this house and trick or treat. What he doesn't know is that a guy dresses up ( in some sort of weird costume )and answers the door. I sense a nightmare going to happen.
This is a house on our street. As you can see the halloween decorations are wild. It scares many of the kids. When the school bus stops after school, all the kids go over to one side of the bus and check out all the decorations. The people who live here are extremely friendly, I must say.
This poor witch is all I can say! I don't know whether she flew into the ground or was that wicked witch from Oz---- that melted ? I hope she just she just missed her target. Anyway she gave me a good laugh.
Doesn't this face seem happy with this baked goodie, before even tasting my creation? This tasty treat is Pumpkin Cheesecake. It is so easy to make. A great big thank you to Darlene (Brent's Aunt), for hosting a lovely thanksgiving supper. She also found this recipe and served it for dessert. I had to come home and bake one myself. My son was so happy to be the first tester - can you tell??? j.
Or at least I feel it! I 've been so busy these last 2 weeks, it is driving me nuts. Things have been crazy with hockey and it has only started!! School---- well I hate school- I hate reading, spelling and that is just the easy stuff. I've been busy starting the halloween costume for the boy, and making treat bags. And now I have to follow up on the birthday party stuff for Dawson. So look for another posting on the weekend. Things should slow down by then. Jen.
