His First Performance

At Mr. Photography's school they were lucky enough to have a fabulous group come and do some Acting/Drama with the kids. The performance cost me $1.00 to watch and I must say it was well worth the money and more. Mr. Photography's part in the play was a buffalo. His part was soooo funny. He was so talented at it too!

Here they are taking the brains out of the buffalo.

Here--- they just had killed the buffalo.

Look behind the hoops, there is my little buffalo going -ahhhhhhhhh. (his big vocal part of the play.) He was captured by the hunters.
I don't think we will ever see him on Broadway or in the movies but his performance was worth a special dairy queen treat at the end of the night!

WOW - it was so much fun!

A little pre olympic meal at McDonalds as we waited for the torch to arrive in the park. It seems like we weren't the only ones who had this thought. McDonalds was so busy, the line for food & coffee, was going out the door!!!!
Security--- could been seen high above.

EH - OH- CANADA - GO! We cheered and waved our flags.

For all of 3 seconds she walked by us with a wave, a smile and the torch. It was soooo worth it! We believe. Go Canada!!!!!!

His First Hat Trick

Well the winning streak is over for the Phantoms, but that is ok. The team lost 10-4 at our game on the weekend. Mr. Photography got his first "hat trick". He was so excited. The team went to DQ after their game on Sunday.

Slow to the Button in 2010!

Happy New Year to all who read this blog. We (Mr. Photography and I) have wonderful news to share with you all. The Phantoms (Mr. Photography's hockey team) had their first victory game. After a 14 game losing streak, we were all wondering, if that winning day would arrive. My boy scored two of the 4 goals, by shooting them top shelf! Hence Brent's new nick name : roof daddy! The not so great news - my camera was sitting at home. D'oh!!!!!! Note to self: put camera back in purse. Well there you have it. My first entry of the year. My second entry will have photos attached I promise!

Perfect Snow Day

Since it won't stop snowing these days, what a perfect day for Mr. Photography to try downhill skiing! Here he is having his first lesson. He did so well. He took some rough tumbles but had a smile that lasted for hours after.

Pond Hockey

It was a fun and freezing cold night for the phamtoms hockey team. They were one of two teams selected to have a pond hockey night with the Oil Kings (our whl team.) Mr. Photography had a great time. Here he is getting an autograph with it looks like the captain of the team.
