2 years ago when I worked at the Holiday Inn, I met this women who was attending a Mary Kay event at the hotel. She was about 60ish and lived in Edmonton all her life. She said that in her whole life here in Edmonton, that a winter storm hasn't hit in April, only once-- that she can remember. And look it is now April and we are being hit with the worst storm ALL winter here. Many vehicles are stuck in the ditch, highways closed, school buses not running but schools open, and many power outages all over the city. What a day! And why do we remember people like I mentioned above, can anyone answer that? I always think of her as soon as I turn the calendar to April.
Went out like a LION eh? We have had very little snow and not enough rain and a dry summer is predicted. I have to rethink what I will plant in the garden. mmmmmm mud or snow, I would still rather have snow. mjt
